Have I read some of these threads correctly. Is there an adapter that allows FD lenses to be used on our EOS cameras?

Yes there are adapters, but they have to use optics if the lens is to focus to infinity, and the optics cause a lot of loss of image quality. Alan Myers

Thanks. I was planning on possibly using a couple for macro work that I might be getting from a coworker. I had several of these lenses when I had my AE-1 back in the early 80's. My camera doesn't take great pictures.....I do!

As mentioned above by themadman using FD EOS glass adapter you willl lose significant IQ, light and it will act as TC. Just not worth it. Jam
