3 Tiffs into HDR Efex Pro - tried to bring out the textures in the paint. I could not easily clone out the sign in the window.

Loved the picture and processing. Very natural looking. Little bit Level and curve adjustment with some burning will make it awesome.

Tirtha

Great looking original old truck. Your processing is not over the top like some HDR and it does bring out the rusty colours beautifully.

Use burning to create more depth and a 3D effect. Try once, I don't think it will look bad.

Nice looking truck. Processing looks good but a bit bright to me. You might try pulling down the midtones using a curves adjustment and see how that looks. It will also increase the apparent saturation as well. Please keep in mind that this comment is subjective and based on personal preferance only.

navydoc - if you have the time, could you download the forum image and give it a wack in curves to your preference. Let me know the values/setting and I will give it a go.....always willing to try different settings.
You too Tirtha...
What I use is the whites in clouds and tires against wheel wells for blacks.....midtones is my eye only.

Spike, I don't have a set amount I use to lower mid-tones. Like you, it's just a matter of how things appear to my eye. Below is your edited image then the curves adjustment I applied. The black point and white point are the same on the edit as the original.

Keep in mind that this is a global adjustment. If you only want portions of the image adjusted, you can do that using a layer mask.
