However, since I just sold off my 1D2n, I'm going to lack a bit in the telephoto department. Does anyone know if the Canon 1.4x mk2 (not the newer mk3) is a lot better than the sigma 1.4x apo non DG? I have some money and was thinking that if the IQ diff is a lot, I'd just sell the sigma and get the canon.

The 2x converters impact quality, and auto focus, much more strongly than the 1.4x. Graeme
