Clarification: the Legends Car in that image is fully functional and runs. Like many of the machines at this car show, it was elevated to allow viewing the undercarriage through mirrors placed on the floor. The difference with this car was that the left-side wheels were deliberately removed to allow viewing the suspension and engine compartment. That's why the left side was on jack stands and the blue light strips were placed in the wheel wells.

The right side of the car was supported on conventional wheel stands. The builders of this car made sure that everything visible was painted, polished, chromed or anodized, and they wanted to call extra attention to the suspension work, especially the pink metalflake coating on the brakes. Displaying the car in that manner was a variation on the practice of leaving a display car's hood up so people can see the engine.
