05Xrunner Goldmember, Flipflopper. More info | i have the opteka grip for my 7D and there is no problems with it..most of those 3rd party grips are 100% identical to the canon one just are not stamped canon..people will claim the canon one is soo much better but thats mainly cause they paid the over priced amount for it. The conversation seems to have been centred around the grip, but is there any reason, as far as you know, that (if I don't use the grip) I shouldn't use the cheaper batteries instead of the expensive Canon one?

What I'm asking is if anyone has had any experience of items like this - in particular, the batteries.
