I have just bought the EOS 60D and tried to use my Nissin speedlite Di622 flash but found that whilst it was ok to use TTL on full power it didn't have the TTL function when using a different power level available on the back of the flash, and when I tried to use this the camera software crashed and gave a warning. I purchased the flash over a year ago and I have used this flash before on my EOS 1000D and it worked ok. Do I take it that the TTL function is not compatible with the 60D now when switching flash power levels? I know it is possible to change exposure flash levels on the camera flash menu and this may be what I have to do in future, but I am surprised the compatibility has changed in a year, although I see there is an updated Nissin Di622model now.

I would be very interested to hear from anyone employed at Canon Inc: if reasons and platitudes are to be forthcoming! Grrrrr ....
