I led field trips for the festival and managed a few decent shots.

All pics taken with Canon T2i and Sigma 50-500mm 4.5-6.3 DG OS Lens

These are great shots, I really like the ones of the blue gray gnatcatcher. Not one of the easiest birds to catch still long enough for a photo shoot

Great shots, especially of the Gnatcatcher. I keep hoping to see the Great Kiskadee someday when I travel down that direction.

Thanks everyone for kind words, all photos were hand-held with image stabilization off. I think something with the IS is a little off with this lens. Going to have it checked.

Brad - I know that you can find Kiskadees not too far south of San Antonio. Choke Canyon is a great spot.

Love the gnat catcher, but the kiskadee is unique. I've never seen one.
