This is my 1st post here I was experimenting with Gelling my backdrop and this was the result. As alway C&C is always welcome & appreciated. I would have liked her hair off her face but that is a near impossibility.

Nice! I like that effect, and the lighting. Well done. (I wish I could do that)

Really nice, helped a lot by such a cute model....congrats

Edit: Not too sure about the blue hair bow though...I think it distracts a little....but a minor point..

I appreciate the comments and since it was requested here is an after shot of the lights setup the way they were.

All lights were used except the beauty dish.

What is your backdrop? I'm looking in getting a black one, can you recommend me one?

It is actually Thunder Grey Seamless paper. I have white, black, & grey and I definitely use grey the most. It really can be any color you want it to be depending on how you light it. And if I use a gel it holds the color wherever I put it vs white which will bleed a bit since the fall off is not as drastic.

Care to share where you bought it? I was deciding if I should get a black roll or a grey one.

I'm having a really hard time making my white seamless of up grey, it wrinkles too much :/

I bought it at a local camera store since shipping those large paper rolls can costs more than the roll itself. They cost me about $45 a roll the brand is Superior Seamless paper 107"x36' Color thunder grey.

Thanks for the info, I'm looking for one now.

Between, I keep going back to your shot, I really like it. You've lit her perfectly. You should share it in the Using MULTIPLE strobes - creative examples - post yours!, you'll get comment from people who really know their stuff in Portrait Photography.
