The saw-whet owl was back today, this time in a tree. I tried many angles and couldn't find one without a branch in the way!

Wish I could find one of these to shoot. Good shot! Can't sweat the branches too much.

Still very nice shots. Sometimes you can't avoid branches and the bird will just not perch on a clear limb!
