Top one has so much contrast, it's hard to determine just what to focus on. It's an interesting picture, but it loses texture because of the loss of shade detail.

Second has good phrasing IMO, but the blur is a bit much to be artistically pleasing to my eye. I do like the subject, and he's got a great pose. What do the pre-processed ones look like?

I like the contrast in the first image - it makes it into an interesting abstract.

I think the first one is overprocessed and the second underprocessed.
In the first I can see you in the eye. Might look cool in color.
